Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Matias founded Buyatab in 2009. He has since received numerous awards and recognition for his entrepreneurial success, including: being named a BC Business Top 30 Under 30 recipient in 2016; winner of the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of The Year award; and being named to Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2017. A digital gift card industry pioneer, Matias has been instrumental in driving Buyatab’s growth and customer-focused success. He is an active advisor to early-stage technology companies. Matias holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Chief Financial Officer
Greg has over 20 years’ international business experience that comprises both consulting and several senior management positions within public companies in Canada and the United States. Greg’s range of commercial experience includes financial reporting, process optimization, risk management and SEC compliance. Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Chief Technology Officer
Chris has over two decades’ experience in the technology sector, spanning a wide breadth of commercial applications, including energy trading, forestry management, consumer retail and financial services. Drawing on his experience as an application and enterprise architect, Chris has served in senior technology management roles for the past 16 years, focusing on business and technology alignment. A veteran of many different compliance efforts, he also brings a strong background in implementing modern product/technology management techniques that maintain compliance with industry regulatory standards. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria.
Vice President of Sales
Vohara joined Buyatab in 2011 and oversees the company’s sales team. He works with many of the world’s leading brands to develop and facilitate unique solutions tailored to meet their business objectives and challenges. Vohara is also responsible for driving strategic partnerships and enhancing existing relationships with current partners. He holds a certificate in Professional Sales Management from the BC Institute of Technology, and has an extensive background in sales within the information technology industry.
Moneca has over 10 years of financial accounting and auditing experience with large public and private companies to small owner operated and not-for-profit organizations across a range of industries, including software, mining and shipping. Moneca’s background includes developing, implementing and maintaining accounting processes and controls, analyzing financial and operational information, SEC financial reporting compliance and tax compliance. Moneca holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Head of Client Success
Maddie joined Buyatab in 2015. She oversees Buyatab’s Client Success Team to ensure smooth transitions and continuous growth of programs. Working with the product and sales teams, she provides partner oriented solutions that integrate to the company’s larger strategic goals. Maddie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University and a Master of Management from the University of British Columbia.
Head of Customer Service
Jordan joined Buyatab in 2014 and oversees the company’s customer service team. He has an extensive background in customer satisfaction, previously working for several international luxury and hospitality brands for a decade. Jordan is responsible for maintaining the relationships between current partners and their customers, offering his widespread experience, support and leadership to his teams.
Tiffany joined Buyatab in 2017, bringing a combination of firm and in-house experience. Working with the product and sales teams, she provides practical advice on legal and strategic matters. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario, and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society of British Columbia.
Chief Barking Officer
Draper founded InstaBark, an app allowing dogs to bark at people (and cats) remotely, which was acquired by FaceBark. When not chasing his tail, Draper eats gift cards for breakfast and can count to infinity. In 2013, Draper won a game of Connect Four in only three moves. It is rumoured that, when Alexander Bell invented the telephone, he had three missed calls from Draper. Draper was named one of the Top 2 Under 2 Global Canine Entrepreneurs in 2014. In 2025, he earned his Time Travel and Teleportation degree from Barkley University.
